About the role

  • Construction technology analyst supporting PCL’s construction technology adoption, infrastructure, troubleshooting, and training. Helping deliver efficient technology solutions across Richmond jobsites and district operations.

Responsibilities

  • Promote the adoption of technology solutions at district jobsites, including deployment, ongoing support, and training
  • Engage in adoption of new processes and emerging technologies that enhance efficiencies
  • Set up and maintain jobsites for various technologies and infrastructure, including remote support
  • Work with operational project teams to identify innovations, challenges, issues and solutions
  • Administer and monitor district office and construction site server resources and technology solutions
  • Respond to technology issues and assist team members with technical issues
  • Provide implementation support on corporate and regional timelines and initiatives
  • Resolve user-reported problems through timely issue logging and resolution according to company procedures and policies
  • Plan, create, and deliver technical training and other knowledge resources

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in computer technology or a related discipline
  • 5 years of progressive experience in a related field
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts clearly and concisely
  • Intermediate problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize own work and delegate simple tasks
  • Results-oriented and able to drive deadlines
  • Knowledge of change management methodologies an asset
  • Must be able to lift up to 23kgs (50 lbs) as part of regular job duties
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships
