About the role

  • HR analytics analyst using workforce data, reporting, and AI to improve PCL Construction decisions. Identifying trends and prioritizing automation opportunities for HR operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead HR analytics and reporting initiatives to provide insights that inform HR strategies and business decisions
  • Identify patterns and trends in HR, employee and business metrics to support strategic decision-making and process improvements
  • Use data to tell a compelling story, translating complex information into clear, actionable narratives for stakeholders
  • Research AI capabilities, AI trends, and automation to optimize HR processes strategically
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI use cases that deliver measurable business value and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with corporate departments and the HR Leadership team to align with priorities and initiatives
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with privacy and security standards

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with strong exposure to analytics and reporting
  • Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, SAP SuccessFactors)
  • Strong understanding of AI capabilities, trends, and automation
  • Strong organizational skills, high level of detail orientation, and ability to multitask and prioritize conflicting deadlines
  • Business acumen and understanding of how to incorporate AI solutions that positively contribute to business operations
  • Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate and present ideas and content that influence a favorable outcome
  • Results oriented with proven project management experience
