Responsibilities
Ensure stable builds are produced, fixed, and regularly delivered to the production team.
Ensure engine changes made in other projects are properly integrated.
Notify stakeholders and assist in resolving integration issues when they occur.
Collaborate with the client's QA engineering team to quickly resolve build and integration issues.
Expand and maintain continuous integration pipelines.
Monitor build health and respond quickly to failures or blockages.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of production tools.
Provide scripting support to designers and technical artists.
Investigate and resolve technical issues encountered by the development team.
Handle packaging of final builds for platform submission.
Ensure smooth processes when transitioning builds from development to stable environments.
Requirements
Strong programming skills in Python and C#.
Experience using custom tools, pipelines, or proprietary engines.
Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment systems and automated build processes.
Proven troubleshooting skills and the ability to support multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Fluency in English is required due to regular interactions with stakeholders and partners outside Québec.
Advantageous: Experience in game development support roles (build engineer, tools programmer, technical support programmer).
Familiarity with C++.
Knowledge of Maya scripting.
Experience with automated testing frameworks.
Experience developing and delivering console builds.
