About the role

  • Senior Support Engineer ensuring stable builds and integration for AAA game development. Collaborating with teams to resolve technical issues across projects.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure stable builds are produced, fixed, and regularly delivered to the production team.
  • Ensure engine changes made in other projects are properly integrated.
  • Notify stakeholders and assist in resolving integration issues when they occur.
  • Collaborate with the client's QA engineering team to quickly resolve build and integration issues.
  • Expand and maintain continuous integration pipelines.
  • Monitor build health and respond quickly to failures or blockages.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of production tools.
  • Provide scripting support to designers and technical artists.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues encountered by the development team.
  • Handle packaging of final builds for platform submission.
  • Ensure smooth processes when transitioning builds from development to stable environments.

Requirements

  • Strong programming skills in Python and C#.
  • Experience using custom tools, pipelines, or proprietary engines.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment systems and automated build processes.
  • Proven troubleshooting skills and the ability to support multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Fluency in English is required due to regular interactions with stakeholders and partners outside Québec.
  • Advantageous: Experience in game development support roles (build engineer, tools programmer, technical support programmer).
  • Familiarity with C++.
  • Knowledge of Maya scripting.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks.
  • Experience developing and delivering console builds.
