About the role
- Product Manager for Eligibility & Benefits at Phreesia ensuring efficient healthcare data exchange through innovative solutions. Collaboration with engineering, data science, and clients to drive product strategies and improvements.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, define, and manage functional requirements and system specifications for the Eligibility & Benefits product portfolio
- Own and execute against your product roadmap, aligning priorities with company strategy and client needs
- Serve as a product champion across the organization, ensuring clarity and alignment among internal stakeholders
- Translate business needs into detailed technical specifications and user stories to guide engineering teams
- Drive go-to-market strategies and support successful launches in partnership with Product Leadership, Market Development, Client Success, and Marketing
- Build compelling business cases for new features and enhancements through cross-functional collaboration
- Partner with engineering and data science to define system functionality and guide Agile development processes
- Monitor system performance metrics and leverage data-driven insights to inform product decisions
- Support and train operations teams to ensure successful product adoption and execution
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years of product management or data/analytics experience, ideally in healthcare or a high-growth B2B SaaS environment using Agile methodologies
- Deep expertise in EDI 270/271 transactions, including eligibility verification workflows, payer integration standards, and HIPAA-compliant data exchange
- Experience working with healthcare data formats and APIs, including FHIR, HL7, and ANSI X12
- Proven experience integrating with vendor systems and third-party platforms for real-time EDI transactions
- Experience with EMR/EHR integrations strongly preferred
- Experience leading product initiatives across multiple product teams
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to define and leverage key metrics to drive product vision
- Excellent organizational, project management, written, and verbal communication skills
- Previous mentoring experience is a plus.
