About the role
- Senior Acumatica Construction Consultant leading Acumatica ERP implementations for mid-sized businesses. Advising clients, managing workstreams, and mentoring consulting teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering and design activities on Acumatica Construction implementations, including configuration, testing, data conversion, training, and go-live support
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, building relationships, negotiating resolutions, and ensuring long-term satisfaction
- Independently manage assigned tasks and workstreams with the Project Manager, aligned with SOW, BPR documentation, and implementation methodology
- Provide detailed consulting estimates and implementation project plans
- Communicate project status, issues, and concerns to the Director, Project Manager, and/or Architect/Lead
- Monitor project budgets and deliver engagements on time and within scope
- Coach team members and provide quality assurance on implementation methodology and best practices
- Facilitate group discussions with team members and clients
- Develop written materials and contribute to documentation standards
- Provide leadership in the change management process
- Maintain 75% utilization on an average annual basis
- Maintain Acumatica certifications and continue developing module and consulting expertise
Requirements
- 3+ years of Acumatica implementation and support experience, with a primary focus on Construction
- Four-year degree in Business, Accounting, MIS, or equivalent
- Proven ability to lead full-cycle implementations and manage multiple concurrent workstreams
- Experience working directly with client teams and executive-level stakeholders
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills — able to engage credibly across all levels of a client organization
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking full ownership of assigned tasks and deliverables
- Flexibility with task assignment, priorities, and a fast-moving work environment
- Willingness to travel up to 30% within the US and Canada
- Acumatica certifications across Construction or related modules
- Additional Acumatica experience in Field Services
- Experience at a consulting firm or ERP reseller
- Background as a controller or senior accountant
