About the role

  • Digital product portfolio leader owning Postmedia’s advertising solutions strategy, partnerships, pricing, and growth. Driving adoption and revenue across Canada for a major news media company.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end Digital Marketing Solutions portfolio, including product strategy, market positioning, vendor ecosystem, pricing considerations, and growth roadmap
  • Conduct portfolio reviews assessing product performance, market demand, customer adoption, profitability, and competitive positioning
  • Identify offering gaps and develop business cases for new products, partnerships, or capabilities
  • Research industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings
  • Prioritize portfolio investments and rationalize underperforming offerings
  • Act as business owner accountable for portfolio adoption, profitability, and revenue growth
  • Define product performance metrics and assess portfolio health, market fit, and commercial viability
  • Develop packaging, pricing, and bundling strategies
  • Drive revenue growth and product adoption across the portfolio
  • Establish and monitor margin targets by product category and vendor relationship
  • Manage vendor relationships and commercial agreements
  • Establish partner expectations, performance standards, and business reviews
  • Recommend vendor renewals, renegotiations, or exits
  • Partner with Sales leadership on client conversations and sales enablement
  • Oversee sales enablement tools, training, and solution positioning
  • Work with stakeholders on go-to-market strategies and product launches
  • Collaborate with Operations on onboarding, fulfillment, and delivery
  • Align with Finance on forecasting, performance tracking, and reporting

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience owning and growing digital product portfolios, marketing solutions portfolios, advertising products, SaaS offerings, or related commercial product lines
  • Demonstrated success evaluating portfolio performance and making strategic decisions regarding product growth, optimization, expansion, and rationalization
  • Experience identifying market opportunities and sourcing, evaluating, and launching new products, partnerships, or vendor relationships
  • Strong commercial acumen, including revenue growth, profitability, pricing strategy, and vendor economics
  • Ability to build product roadmaps, drive adoption, and translate strategy into measurable business results
  • Product-minded understanding of market success, customer value, and revenue growth
  • Data-driven and customer-focused ability to define and optimize KPIs tied to adoption, performance, and commercial success
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills aligning Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance around a unified growth strategy
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
