About the role
- Salesforce Project Manager leading cross-functional consulting teams on medium and large-scale IT projects. Delivering Salesforce solutions while managing scope, budgets, schedules, risks, and client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead medium and large-scale IT projects leveraging the Salesforce platform
- Collaborate with Consultants, Engineers, and Designers to define scope and estimate project budgets
- Document and obtain client approval for project requirements
- Plan projects from initiation to launch using agile methodologies
- Lead scrum rituals including stand-ups, sprint planning and grooming, release planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
- Manage and motivate cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with resource management to ensure appropriate project staffing
- Control, monitor, and report on project scope, budget, and schedule
- Ensure systems adhere to quality requirements
- Communicate project status with internal and external stakeholders
- Mitigate project risks and resolve blockers
- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and project teams
- Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain client satisfaction
- Maintain project knowledge bases using Salesforce, Jira, Confluence, Google Drive, and Asana
- Navigate client conversations regarding scope, budget, and schedule adjustments
Requirements
- Understanding of agile methodologies, scrum, waterfall, and software development processes
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams on successful technical projects in a consulting environment
- Experience managing project risks and controlling scope, budget, and schedule
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Salesforce or enterprise CRM knowledge (preferred)
- Experience working in entrepreneurial and startup environments, demonstrating adaptability and resourcefulness in challenging situations (preferred)
