About the role
- Project Control Officer managing SAP-enabled project finances at PwC Canada. Overseeing financial performance, collaborating cross-functionally, and ensuring governance throughout project workstreams.
Responsibilities
- Oversee end ‑ to ‑ end project financial controlling for SAP ‑ enabled programmes
- Track and manage project financial performance
- Monitor time entry submissions
- Prepare and maintain financial reports
- Partner with Finance, PMO, billing administrators, and delivery teams
- Support Engagement Directors and Engagement Managers
- Assist with billing coordination
- Proactively identify and escalate budget overruns
- Collaborate with cross ‑ functional teams
- Support project coordination activities
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in a finance or related field
- Ability to work with budgets, forecasts, actuals, and financial variance analysis
- Experience working with Microsoft Excel
- Strong ability to analyse financial data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in French and English
- Must be based in Québec, have 5+ years of residency in Canada, and be eligible for Government security clearance
- Fluency in English, in addition to French, is required
