About the role
- Senior Full Stack Developer delivering scalable software for a local tech company in Toronto. Designing and implementing fullstack applications while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable, maintainable, and observable fullstack applications
- Design and optimize relational and non-relational data models
- Build robust API layers incorporating input validation and rate limiting
- Construct flexible state management patterns across web applications
- Implement progressive rendering strategies for frontend frameworks
- Manage frontend build tooling and transpilation
- Develop backend services with clean architecture principles
- Instrument frontend and backend code for proactive debugging
- Build automated deployment pipelines with CI/CD tools
- Collaborate with product, design, and QA to define technical requirements
Requirements
- 6+ years of fullstack experience
- 2+ years leading technical projects or teams
- Fluent in JavaScript or TypeScript
- Strong proficiency in React and backend development using Node.js
- Experience building APIs, modeling data, and deploying to cloud infrastructure
- Familiarity with accessibility standards, performance optimization, and secure coding practices
