About the role

Backend Software Developer at Qohash developing and maintaining secure production applications using Java or Kotlin. Collaborating within a fast-paced startup environment to protect sensitive data.

Responsibilities

Analyze, design, and implement features.
Write well-designed and efficient code, which can be tested & perform units and/or integrated tests.
Correct anomalies and problems as they arise.
Test the implemented features to make sure all acceptance criteria are met
Participate in projects from the initial idea to launch.
Advise the product owner on technological choices and decisions concerning developments.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development activities (agility, automated tests, deployment, etc.).
Collaborate with the security team to integrate security best practices into software development processes.
Communicate risks associated with any activity, technology, or processes as you identify them

A strong alignment with our core values (high velocity company experience preferred)
4+ years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining production applications using Java with Spring Boot or Kotlin.
4+ years' experience in DB Systems: SQL, MongoDB, NoSQL
Comfortable working autonomously with modern AI tools and automation, using LLMs and developer workflows to improve personal productivity, code quality, and delivery speed.
