About the role

  • Technical Training Coordinator designing and implementing training programs for RailWorks. Collaborating with SMEs to enhance employee performance and knowledge through effective training methods.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to create and develop new training material as required.
  • Create instructor materials (course outlines, background material, instructional materials, and training aids).
  • Work with the Subject Matter Experts (SME) and Technical Trainers to validate new content in a test environment.
  • Maintain existing training programs and material to ensure that programs are relevant and encompass all current standards.
  • Monitors end‐user feedback to facilitate continuing improvement of training material.
  • Simultaneously handle multiple training projects in various stages of development.
  • Manages training development projects including timelines, development of costs, development of content.
  • Support a learning culture to maintain ongoing employee development.
  • Assist the Technical Trainer to meet set goals and timelines.
  • Represents the company at training‐related meetings.
  • Establish a learning culture to maintain ongoing employee development.
  • Perform other duties as required by the Training Manager.

Requirements

  • Post‐secondary degree/diploma program in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of employees.
  • Ability to create graphics, animations, and other supporting content for instructor led content.
  • Experience and success with implementation of new systems, processes, procedures.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong decision‐making ability.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
