About the role

Software Developer building modern applications for RAVL, an AI-native financial-services transformation consultancy. Using NestJS or Spring, event-driven architectures, and AI coding tools.

Responsibilities

Design, build, test, and maintain reliable, production-quality applications and services
Contribute hands-on to development using NestJS and/or Spring
Work within event-driven architectures and integrate with platforms such as Kafka
Use AI-assisted development tools in the day-to-day engineering workflow
Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and contribute to engineering standards and practices
Collaborate with engineers, architects, product partners, and other stakeholders to turn requirements into working software
Identify technical issues and trade-offs early and contribute practical solutions
Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement across the development lifecycle

Hands-on software development experience with at least one of: NestJS or Spring / Spring Boot
Practical experience using at least one of: GitHub Copilot or Claude Code
Strong software engineering fundamentals, including application design, testing, debugging, version control, and maintainable coding practices
Experience working collaboratively within a software engineering or product delivery team
Ability to understand existing systems and codebases and become productive within them
