About the role
- Mortgage Retention & Growth Advisor helping clients navigate mortgage renewals at RBC. Providing tailored advice and support for homeownership and financial decisions.
Responsibilities
- Connect with clients , you will reach out to clients approaching their mortgage renewal, listen to their goals, and help them explore their options
- Build Relationships: Stay in touch with clients throughout their entire renewal journey, making sure they feel supported every step of the way
- Provide Thoughtful Advice: Discuss mortgages, home equity, and credit solutions in a way that makes sense for each client
- Spot Opportunities: Demonstrating curiosity, you identify ways you can help clients with other financial needs and introduce them to the right team
- Collaborate Across RBC: You will work with branch teams, mortgage specialists, and other advisors to connect clients with the right solutions
Requirements
- Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly serve our clients and do business with RBC partners and/or employees across Canada with English and French speaking needs.
- Lending Experience: You have a proven track record of successfully structuring credit deals and submitting credit applications
- A genuine Interest in Homeownership & Passion for Advising Clients: Finding tailored solutions for your clients when it comes to their home ownership and helping people with money decisions
- Strong Communication: You can explain things clearly, listen well, and build rapport with different types of people
- Self-Motivated: You take initiative, follow through on commitments with a proven track record of translating goals into actionable results
- Comfort with Flexibility: You’re adaptable in a fast-paced environment and comfortable working evenings and weekends.
