Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage all aspects required to obtain prescription drug coverage for patients;
Coordinate cases with insurance companies, physician offices, and healthcare professionals to maximize reimbursement solutions;
Prepare and submit documents and all related paperwork to insurance companies and public/federal funding programs;
Conduct financial means testing as required to maximize patients' prescription medication coverage;
Coordinate required pharmacy processes once funding has been secured;
Develop in-depth knowledge of public, private, and federal funding mechanisms.
Requirements
Post-secondary education or equivalent in a related discipline;
Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in an office environment;
Strong proficiency with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel);
Professional, courteous, and effective telephone manner;
Proven ability to organize time, set priorities, and multitask to meet competing deadlines;
Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
Strong attention to detail;
Experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or insurance industry is required;
Bilingual in French and English is required.
