About the role
- Global ELIS Director leading Renovo's laboratory equipment services across North America and Europe. Owning operations, contracts, client relationships, workforce, safety and program profitability.
Responsibilities
- Own the Enterprise Laboratory Instrument Services (ELIS) program end to end across North America and Europe
- Own one operating model across intake, entitlement, dispatch, verification and payment
- Own program-level contractual performance against the master service agreement and executed addenda
- Lead program governance, steering meetings, checkpoint reviews and executive client reporting
- Own the transition plan through go-live and post-go-live stabilization
- Own a global data standard across four systems of record
- Lead both Regional Directors of Operations and enforce common standards
- Arbitrate regional conflicts with the global operating model
- Own the global workforce position across different transfer regimes
- Own succession, bench depth and retention plans for regional and site leadership
- Own change orders and material scope changes across both regions
- Own program profit and loss and global forecast accuracy
- Own the commercial position on entitlement strategy with the Global Director, Sourcing and Payments
- Approve deferment and coverage decisions with compliance or contractual consequences
- Grow the program through scope expansion, third-party conversion and additional site onboarding
- Hold senior client relationships and present at executive reviews and quarterly business reviews
- Align Renovo's asset management strategy with client business goals
- Escort and host OEM and third-party engineers when required
- Maintain a safe working environment when visiting client sites
Requirements
- Fifteen years or more in laboratory, scientific or medical equipment service, with significant experience leading multi-country operations
- Proven accountability for a global or multi-region managed service program at contract level
- Experience operating across more than one workforce transfer regime, including automatic transfer jurisdictions
- Experience holding a commercial position at contract level, including change orders and scope change
- Experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology or research environment required
- Experience of a large service transition or contract mobilisation required
- Bachelor's degree required, in a scientific, technical or business discipline
- Training in laboratory safety, GxP and data integrity provided or required
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment when on site
- Ability to travel approximately 30 to 50 percent across both regions
- Must follow Renovo safety policies, customer site safety requirements, OSHA guidelines, and laboratory or facility-specific procedures
- Must complete required safety and compliance training on time
