About the role
- Senior Full Stack Developer building and maintaining PHP/Laravel web applications for S. Med. Integrating Vue.js frontends, REST APIs, and relational databases remotely worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend systems using PHP and Laravel
- Design and implement RESTful APIs
- Integrate frontend components with Vue.js
- Optimize database queries (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
- Ensure code quality through code reviews and testing
- Collaborate with frontend and DevOps teams
- Analyze and resolve bugs and performance issues
- Document processes and architectures
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience as a Backend Developer
- Very strong knowledge of PHP and Laravel
- Experience with Vue.js and modern frontend technologies
- Proficiency with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Knowledge of RESTful API development
- Experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Preferred: Experience with Firebase
- Good German and English language skills
