About the role
- CNC Lathe Operator operating machinery and tools for production equipment setup in Aerospace. Responsible for ensuring correct configuration, maintenance, and efficient machine operation.
Responsibilities
- Operate machinery and tools to set up production equipment
- Ensure the correct configuration and calibration of machines
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operation
- Set up and/or program the operating machine and check accuracy and effectiveness in test sequences
- Monitor machines during operation to ensure they are functioning correctly and efficiently
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues to minimize downtime
- Cooperate with maintenance staff, if necessary
- Check finished product/product component and submit for approval
Requirements
- Grade 12 diploma
- Related turning experience or mechanical aptitude
