Responsibilities
- Take ownership of end-to-end design for major product areas: Lead projects from research and discovery through prototyping, testing, and final execution on mobile and web.
- Shape product direction: Partner early with product managers and engineers to define problems, explore solutions, and influence roadmap decisions rather than just executing on them.
- Design for impact: Create experiences that improve key metrics such as activation, engagement, retention, and conversion while delivering intuitive, high-quality user experiences.
- Advocate for customer understanding: Use qualitative and quantitative insights to inform decisions and ensure the team stays grounded in real user needs.
- Scale our design systems: Contribute to scalable design systems and patterns that ensure consistency across the app, web, and marketing surfaces.
- Raise the bar for design: Help improve design quality, processes, and cross-team collaboration. Provide feedback and contribute to a strong design culture.
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of experience designing and shipping consumer products.
- Strong experience owning end-to-end user journeys on mobile and web.
- Ability to balance product thinking, systems design, and visual craft.
- Comfortable working on ambiguous problems and shaping solutions from scratch.
- Excellent communicator able to articulate design decisions to cross-functional partners.
- Collaborative by default, with strong partnerships across Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams.
- Comfortable with tools like Figma and interaction prototyping to bring ideas to life.
- Passion for Bitcoin, financial empowerment, and the future of money.
