About the role

Finance Data Operations & Business Intelligence Analyst focusing on automation and improving data processes within a growing asset management firm. Collaborating on Finance reporting and analytics while promoting an inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

Proactively identify recurring, manual, or error-prone Finance processes and redesign them using automation-first thinking
Build and maintain automated Excel based workflows to streamline data ingestion, transformation, validation, and reconciliation
Develop reusable data transformation logic and standardized import templates
Embed automated data quality checks directly into workflows
Coordinate third-party data submissions
Transform, standardize, and reconcile incoming datasets
Execute and continuously improve automated validation routines
Maintain and enhance runbooks, control checklists, and process documentation
Refresh and maintain Finance and leadership reporting outputs
Maintain Power BI datasets and dashboards

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, Analytics, or related fields
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong automation and control mindset
Comfortable working with various GenAI-based tools
High attention to detail
Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
Clear communication skills to partner with Finance stakeholders and data providers
Experience with Power BI and data automation concepts
