About the role
- Finance Data Operations & Business Intelligence Analyst focusing on automation and improving data processes within a growing asset management firm. Collaborating on Finance reporting and analytics while promoting an inclusive culture.
Responsibilities
- Proactively identify recurring, manual, or error-prone Finance processes and redesign them using automation-first thinking
- Build and maintain automated Excel based workflows to streamline data ingestion, transformation, validation, and reconciliation
- Develop reusable data transformation logic and standardized import templates
- Embed automated data quality checks directly into workflows
- Coordinate third-party data submissions
- Transform, standardize, and reconcile incoming datasets
- Execute and continuously improve automated validation routines
- Maintain and enhance runbooks, control checklists, and process documentation
- Refresh and maintain Finance and leadership reporting outputs
- Maintain Power BI datasets and dashboards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, Analytics, or related fields
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong automation and control mindset
- Comfortable working with various GenAI-based tools
- High attention to detail
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Clear communication skills to partner with Finance stakeholders and data providers
- Experience with Power BI and data automation concepts
