About the role

  • Senior Agile Coach working in Canada to implement agile frameworks and methodologies. Leading transformation and coaching initiatives across various levels of leadership and teams.

Responsibilities

  • Supports all directorates and vice-presidencies in integrating agile practices.
  • Develops contextualized agile tools and methods.
  • Designs and implements rollout strategies for agile adoption.
  • Trains, motivates and coaches leaders and teams toward strategic agile ways of working.
  • Improves collaboration, responsiveness, velocity and product quality.
  • Designs and evolves agile tools and practices taking into account the organization’s needs and context.
  • As an expert, recommends the adoption and appropriation of agile frameworks and best practices.
  • Advises and strategically influences leadership on the directions to adopt.
  • Provides strategic advisory on the evolution of the roadmap for scaling agility.
  • Coaches leaders at all hierarchical levels, primarily at the executive level.
  • Helps leaders establish an environment conducive to collaboration.
  • Defines and implements a Lean portfolio for IT projects.
  • Participates in the agile transformation of project management processes.
  • Integrates multi-team or multi-project agile synchronization.

Requirements

  • Minimum eight (8) years of experience using an agile framework or supporting organizations in agile ways of working, including at least five (5) years in the information technology sector.
  • Have served as a Senior Agile Coach in one or more engagements totaling at least 600 person-days over the last five (5) years. Presented engagements must be a minimum of 200 person-days per engagement.
  • Demonstrate three (3) experiences of more than 20 person-days each preparing and delivering training as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach within the last five (5) years. These experiences may have been part of the same engagement and may be the engagements presented in item 2.
  • Demonstrate three (3) experiences within the last five (5) years where the resource acted as an Agile Coach to managers. These may have been part of the same engagement(s) and may be those presented in item 2.
  • The proposed resource must hold a SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) certification.
  • Have completed at least one (1) engagement to identify and implement at least one SAFe Agile Release Train during the last five (5) years.
  • Have completed at least one (1) “agile coaching” engagement lasting a minimum of twelve (12) months in the Quebec public or parapublic sector or in the Quebec private sector.
  • Have experience working with the Azure DevOps tool.
  • Have at least one experience working as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or another agile-relevant role in the implementation or evolution of packaged software.
