Responsibilities
Contribute to the design and production of 2D and 3D technical deliverables for civil works and mining tailings storage facility (TSF) infrastructure, managing design data and ensuring compliance with discipline standards and guidelines.
Collaborate closely with project teams and related disciplines to resolve design issues, incorporate required plan revisions, and ensure clear, consistent communication of technical deliverables.
Ensure the quality, accuracy and compliance of technical deliverables by adhering to applicable standards and codes, and by maintaining rigorous, structured management of design files.
Requirements
Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, preferably with demonstrated expertise in drafting/CAD technology or a similar field
Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience preparing design drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D
Experience designing tailings storage facilities (TSFs), including dams and associated infrastructure
Knowledge of civil site works: site services, earthworks, stormwater management and road design
Familiarity with national and local codes related to site drainage and erosion control
Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D drawings
Knowledge or understanding of surveying principles
Proficiency with Muck3D software
Direct experience on mining sites
