About the role

Responsibilities
- Design plans and specifications for road infrastructure projects, including roads, highways, bridge approaches, and roundabouts
- Participate in preparing plans, studies, reports, specifications, estimates, and calculations
- May oversee construction activities and provide technical and administrative project follow-up
- Contribute to transportation projects that improve the safety, sustainability, and resilience of communities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in roadway engineering
- Experience with an engineering consulting firm is an asset
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
- ASP Construction general health and safety certification
- Strong organizational skills and commitment to quality work
- Strong ability to learn
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of MTQ standards and guidelines is an asset
