About the role

Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to track industry trends and provide insights to support product strategy
- Assist in monitoring and analyzing product performance across underwriting, sales, client engagement, profitability, and claims
- Support the execution of product initiatives and enhancements by managing tasks related to product development and implementation
- Provide research and data analysis to aid decision-making on product positioning and improvements
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product content aligns with broader company initiatives
- Monitor the team inbox and respond to product-related inquiries and exception requests from advisors, clients, and internal stakeholders
- Support the rollout of new product initiatives, including preparing communications and training materials
- Manage the team SharePoint site, ensuring all relevant materials are organized and stored
Requirements
- Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to collect, manipulate, and interpret data
- Knowledge in life insurance products and how they are sold
- Excellent problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective collaboration and interpersonal skills to work across teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables
- Experience in product management, product marketing, or financial services (preferred)
- Familiarity with individual life insurance solutions offered by Sun Life and their administration (preferred)
- Experience working with insurance advisors or within the insurance industry (preferred)
- Knowledge of tools such as OneNote, SharePoint, and Tableau (preferred)
