About the role

  • Finance Data Operations Analyst focusing on automating finance processes and delivering analytics. Collaborating in a team-driven environment to enhance reporting and decision-making in asset management.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify recurring, manual, or error-prone Finance processes and redesign them using automation-first thinking
  • Build and maintain automated Excel-based workflows to streamline data ingestion, transformation, validation, and reconciliation
  • Develop reusable data transformation logic and standardized import templates
  • Embed automated data quality checks, exception logic, and validation controls directly into workflows
  • Support SLC Finance GenAI / Copilot productivity initiatives
  • Coordinate third-party data submissions, including receipt tracking
  • Transform, standardize, and reconcile incoming datasets using scalable workflows
  • Maintain and enhance runbooks, control checklists, and process documentation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, Analytics, or related fields
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including PivotTables, data cleaning, reconciliation logic, structured tables, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS
  • Comfortable working with various GenAI-based tools including Agents to develop automated workflows
  • Ability to customize LLMs is a strong plus
  • High attention to detail in a regulated Finance environment
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Clear communication skills to partner with Finance stakeholders and data providers
  • Experience with Power BI and data automation concepts
