About the role
- Senior Risk Business Data Analyst supporting risk management practices and operational excellence at Sun Life. Collaborating across teams to deliver data-driven solutions and improvements.
Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate requirement discovery sessions with stakeholders at all levels
- Elicit, analyze, validate, and communicate business, functional, and compliance requirements
- Partner with the Product Owner to define, refine, and prioritize Agile backlog items
- Analyze business processes, systems, data flows, and operational pain points
- Validate delivered solutions against business requirements and acceptance criteria
Requirements
- 5 or more years of progressive experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role
- Strong understanding of data requirements, data ingestion, data integration, and data validation
- Experience in Agile environments such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree, college diploma, or equivalent practical experience
