Responsibilities
Support Solution Design: Assist in developing scalable, cost-effective technology solutions based on customer requirements, business objectives, and existing IT environments
Analyze Customer Needs: Review RFI/RFP documents and ask insightful questions to clarify requirements and identify optimal solutions
Deliver Pre-Sales Support: Provide technical research, solution sizing, and supporting documentation for proposals and customer engagements
Enable Partners & Customers: Deliver technical demos, presentations, and training sessions across multiple technologies and solutions
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with sales teams, peers, and vendors to develop compelling solution strategies and demo environments
Participate in Industry Engagements: Support executive briefings, trade shows, webinars, and technical events to showcase solutions and build brand presence
Build Technical Expertise: Pursue vendor certifications and continuously develop knowledge across key technologies and solution areas
Develop Trusted Relationships: Establish strong relationships with vendor and reseller partners, becoming a valued technical resource
Requirements
1–3 years of experience in IT, technical sales, pre-sales engineering, or solution support
Foundational understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud, or emerging technologies
Strong communication skills, including the ability to present technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
Ability to analyze requirements and contribute to solution design
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-paced technology environment
Exposure to vendor technologies or entry-level data center technical certifications (e.g., server, storage, cyber security)
Experience supporting pre-sales activities, demos, or technical presentations
Familiarity with RFP/RFI processes and solution development
Ability to influence and communicate effectively with stakeholders across different levels
