About the role

  • Field Solutions Architect for TD SYNNEX responsible for designing complex IT solutions. Collaborating with vendors and resellers to implement technology strategies aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Solution Design & Delivery – Collaborate with account teams and vendors to architect end-to-end solutions that align with reseller business objectives – Lead proof-of-concept, staging, configuration, and on-site implementation of complex systems – Anticipate technical risks and proactively propose mitigations to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes
  • Consultative Sales & Executive Engagement – Apply a consultative sales approach to position technology value and ROI to C-suite and senior leadership – Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, statements of work (SoWs), and bills of materials (BoMs) – Drive sales through face-to-face meetings, virtual demos, and social media thought leadership
  • Project & Partnership Management – Own multiple concurrent projects, managing deliverables against SLAs and timelines – Build strong, mutually beneficial relationships with resellers and vendor partners through coaching, mentoring, and continuous enablement – Serve as the primary technical resource for reseller inquiries, corrective actions, and follow-up
  • Thought Leadership & Enablement – Create and publish practical, authoritative content for TD SYNNEX social channels and knowledge bases – Deliver on-demand, short-form training sessions to advance partners’ sales and technical acumen – Stay current on vendor roadmaps, market trends, and emerging technologies—maintain required certifications (5–10% self-directed learning)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred; HS/GED minimum
  • 5+ years of consultative technology sales and/or solution architecture experience, including SoW and BoM development
  • Deep knowledge of vendor-specific tools and solutions; 2–4 major certifications required, additional certifications encouraged
  • Proven ability to influence C-level executives and translate technical concepts into business value
  • Strong understanding of ROI modeling, comparative analysis, and market trends
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience leading executive briefings
  • Travel requirements are minimal and may include occasional visits to client sites.
