Responsibilities
- Define and own the overall AI solution architecture for Bromont, including tools, platforms, agents, integrations, and governance mechanisms
- Establish reference architectures for AI-augmented software development
- Translate corporate AI strategy into concrete architectures and roadmaps
- Design and evolve scalable AI platforms
- Ensure AI systems are designed for reusability and composability
- Architect the adoption of GitHub Copilot and other developer AI tools at Bromont
- Define AI-first development workflows
- Architect and deploy AI agents that support engineering, IT, and OT teams
- Define architectural guardrails for AI use in a regulated manufacturing environment
- Act as an impact multiplier by enabling and empowering others
Requirements
- Strong background in software engineering (Python, Java, or equivalent)
- Proven experience designing end-to-end AI solutions and architectures
- Hands-on, large-scale experience with GitHub Copilot or similar developer AI tools
- Familiarity with agent frameworks and orchestration platforms (LangChain, Hugging Face, or equivalent)
- Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise systems via secure APIs
- Excellent understanding of secure development practices, intellectual property, and licensing constraints
- Ability to influence, mentor, and align multidisciplinary stakeholders
