Responsibilities
Provide vaccination during the annual flu campaign from October through December
Administer influenza vaccines to patients
Inform patients of vaccination side effects
Implement emergency measures as required
Compile and inventory vaccines administered
Provide quality, safe, compassionate care to all clients
Communicate and work effectively with members of the interdisciplinary team
Provide a rewarding patient experience with empathy, discretion, and professionalism
Work with the customer service-oriented Onsite services team
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in nursing
Current registration and license in good standing with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
CPR certification up to date
Minimum of 3 years nursing experience (private or public sector)
Ready to travel to the client site
Valid driver’s license and access to a car
Interest in customer service and a corporate work environment
Professionalism and strong judgment
Assiduity, autonomy, punctuality, discretion, and interpersonal skills
Ability to make decisions
In-depth knowledge of current guidelines, practice standards, and medical directives
Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
ACLS certification is an asset
Previous experience in primary care or acute care is an asset
Computer skills, including EMR, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, are an asset
