About the role

  • Health & Safety Analyst supporting compliance, risk control, audits, and training at Tenaris, a global tubular-products manufacturer. Working onsite in its Camrose steel mill.

Responsibilities

  • Support the regional Health and Safety function
  • Ensure the HESA management system is implemented according to company requirements, procedures, and applicable legal regulations across all sites
  • Participate in identifying, assessing, and controlling hazards and risks
  • Support implementation, issuance, and updating of Company HESA procedures
  • Prepare periodic reports
  • Analyze monitoring results, statistics, trends, and action plans
  • Participate in and support HESA training development
  • Participate in the company HESA audit program
  • Participate in HESA committee meetings
  • Support Clients and other interested parties by analyzing requirements and implementing changes when needed
  • Follow up on proper use of company IT tools
  • Analyze, interpret, and recommend courses of action for complex topics
  • Interact autonomously with internal and external contacts
  • Comply with Tenaris policies, procedures, management standards, laws, and regulations
  • Protect assigned facilities, equipment, and physical resources from damage, theft, or misuse

Requirements

  • Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role or managing related tasks
  • Strong understanding of Canadian manufacturing safety standards and procedures
  • Knowledge of local safety legislation
  • Experience working in a steel mill or metal manufacturing environment is an asset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is an asset
  • CRSP, CSP, or CIH certification is a strong asset
