About the role
- International journalist and market analyst covering global energy markets for The Energy Year. Interviewing industry leaders and producing market intelligence, articles, and reports worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Travel internationally to cover energy markets all year round
- Meet and interview CEOs, ministers, and senior executives
- Gather market intelligence and profile companies
- Write articles, reports, and other content for The Energy Year
- Attend conferences, exhibitions, and networking events
- Work independently and as part of a dynamic international team
- Gain international experience, build a global network, and become a trusted voice in the energy industry
Requirements
- BA/BSc or MA/MSc in International Relations, Economics, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or similar fields
- 1–3 years of relevant experience (new graduates are welcome!)
- Full availability to travel and live abroad
- Curious, proactive, and adaptable mindset
- Excellent communication and social skills
- Fluent English (Spanish, Portuguese, or French is a plus)
- Professional presentation and no travel restrictions
