We are hiring a QA Lead to drive end - to - end testing strategies and lead enterprise - scale QA initiatives in a regulated Insurance/BFSI environment.
About the role
- Intermediate Air Quality Engineer for Geosyntec focusing on air permitting assessments in Ontario and collaborating on diverse environmental projects.
Responsibilities
- technical writing (reports, letters, memoranda, work plans, etc.) and complex data analysis
- developing air emission inventories and performing air dispersion modelling using AERMOD or similar models
- collaborating with a diverse team to support challenging technical projects including task and project management
- leading technical assessments, budgeting and budget management, ensuring quality, and delivering on client satisfaction
- fieldwork primarily focused on site inspections
Requirements
- at least 5 years of experience performing air permitting assessments in Ontario
- bachelor's degree in environmental science (including chemistry or biology), environmental, civil, or chemical engineering
- professional engineer (i.e., P.Eng) or qualified for professional registration in the future
- emission inventory development
- air dispersion modelling
- effective and clear communication skills (oral and writing)
- experience working on demanding, sophisticated, and potentially legally sensitive projects (preferred)
- regular fieldwork and overnight travel
- valid Canadian driver’s license and satisfactory driving record for business travel
