About the role
- Forward Deployed Engineer building AI-powered automations, data pipelines, and dashboards for Trexo Robotics’ wearable mobility robots. Partnering with internal teams to solve operational bottlenecks end to end.
Responsibilities
- Design and build AI-powered internal tools, agents, and workflows using LLMs, Python, JavaScript, Zapier/Make, Airtable, and Salesforce
- Work with finance, marketing, business operations, regulatory, and production teams to identify and prioritize operational bottlenecks
- Build and improve data pipelines, integrations, and dashboards
- Define and track KPIs, investigate issues, and turn analysis into recommendations and decisions
- Own projects end to end, including diagnosis, solution design, deployment, monitoring, documentation, and improvement
- Establish standards, practices, and foundations for internal tooling at Trexo Robotics
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, technical operations, or a similar role
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, ideally building production automations, internal tools, or agentic workflows
- Strong Python and/or JavaScript skills
- Strong SQL and data skills, including relational data, messy dataset cleaning, and data quality assessment
- Comfortable with Excel or Google Sheets
- Experience building dashboards, reports, or data pipelines supporting business decisions
- Familiarity with REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON
- Experience connecting CRMs, email, calendars, spreadsheets, and internal databases
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable with ambiguity and minimal process
- Legal right to work in the location applied for; visa sponsorship is unavailable
- Nice to have: Claude Code, Cursor, or similar agentic coding tools
- Nice to have: Tableau, Quicksight, Looker, Metabase, or similar BI/dashboarding tools
- Nice to have: Airtable, Zapier, Salesforce, data pipeline/ETL concepts, workflow orchestration, MCP-based integrations, startup experience, funnel analytics, marketing attribution, or healthcare/medical-device data experience
