About the role
- Principal Product Designer at Trulioo shaping multi-platform identity verification experiences. Driving design leadership and user-centered practices in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Drive the end-to-end design process for Trulioo's identity solution products.
- Apply core user-centered design practices through discovery, problem framing, journey mapping, and iterative refinement.
- Partner deeply with Product, Engineering, and Research teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years as a Product Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing multi-platform work, including mobile experience design and diverse product surfaces.
- Proficiency in UX, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping.
- Demonstrated experience designing complex, multi-step workflows or data-rich interfaces.
- Highly collaborative working style with hands-on experience partnering closely with Engineering and Product teams.
- Demonstrated ability to apply user-centered and research-informed design practices; comfortable bringing clarity to ambiguous, evolving product spaces.
- Expert-level proficiency with Figma for design, prototyping, and collaboration, including a deep understanding of components, variants, and auto-layout for scalable design systems.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted design tools (e.g., Vibe Coding or similar).
- A proactive mindset and the ability to identify opportunities and drive initiatives independently.
- Mentor designers and help elevate design quality.
- Must be able to work onsite in our Vancouver office (hybrid model) and already have legal authorization to work in Canada.
