Senior Product Manager needed for a 6 - month contract in downtown Vancouver with retail and data analytics experience. Onsite 4 days/week.
About the role
- Leading product management for scalable data capabilities at Twilio. Operating with autonomy, accountability for delivery and managing cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the product requirements for building and enhancing the data platform.
- Drive priority initiatives across various organizations and stakeholders.
- Understand customer needs for operational and analytical purposes.
- Craft and deliver a vision for the data substrate and primitives at Twilio.
Requirements
- 4+ years of product management experience in a fast-paced company
- Background in Data Lakes, Data Streaming, Event logging
- Experience with Kafka, Spark, Presto/Athena, or similar technologies
- Technically savvy and experienced with cloud, APIs, communications, enterprise software, data reliability, and ETL techniques
- Customer oriented approach
- Ability to solicit customer requirements from diverse sources
- Strategic problem solver
- Experience working with distributed, cross-functional teams
- Great communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
