About the role
- Operations Analyst analyzing Uline’s shipping, industrial, and packaging distribution data. Developing SQL and Power BI reporting to improve branch performance and operations.
Responsibilities
- Turn complex business data into clear insights, recommendations, and presentations for leadership
- Analyze branch performance, productivity, and error trends to identify root causes and recommend operational improvements
- Own analytical projects from identifying business opportunities through recommending solutions and measuring results
- Partner with Sales, Customer Service, and Distribution Operations teams to understand business needs and support strategic initiatives
- Use SQL and Power BI to develop reporting tools that uncover trends and measure performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Major in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or Engineering preferred
- 3+ years of analyst experience
- Experience in auditing and data analytics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SQL, and Power BI
- Knowledge of VBA and Power Automate preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Availability Monday–Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM
- Must work at the Toronto Branch location
