About the role
- Sessional Lecturer teaching educational technology course focused on active learning classrooms and AI. Responsibilities include course design, teaching, and student assessment.
Responsibilities
- All normal duties related to the design and teaching of a University credit course, including preparation and delivery of course content;
- out-of-class interactions with students via e-mail and office hours;
- development, administration and marking of assignments, tests and exams;
- calculation and submission of grades;
- ordering of all necessary readings;
- supervision of TAs (if any) assigned to the course.
Requirements
- Completed Ph.D. in Education with expertise and specialization in educational technology is required.
- Background in artificial intelligence, immersive technology, gaming, and virtual reality (VR) is required.
- Experience teaching this course, or a similar course at the university level, is preferred.
