About the role
- Software Development Engineer in Test at Veeam focuses on building and maintaining testing infrastructure. Ensuring high product quality and automation capabilities for cloud and on-premises environments.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and improve on-premises and cloud-based infrastructures used for product development and testing
- Develop and enhance automated test frameworks and expand product test coverage
- Implement, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines
- Create tools and automation to streamline engineering and operational workflows
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates and deployment automation
- Collaborate cross-functionally with software engineers, QA, DevOps, and platform teams
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and operational guides
- Support quality initiatives focused on scalability, reliability, performance, and security
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in test automation or software quality engineering
- Experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks
- Strong experience working with CI/CD pipelines in large-scale engineering environments
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using modern programming languages
- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Python
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of ownership
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
