System Administrator managing IT infrastructure and providing support for Microsoft 365 and Azure at Venus Concept. Collaborating closely with IT team to deliver technical solutions and maintain system performance.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the IT Lead and other IT team members to support end users and oversee the administration of key systems
Provide system administrator support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft's core business applications and solutions using the Microsoft 365 Apps admin center
Oversee IT inventory, including hardware, software, and other tech assets. Maintain accurate records of all equipment.
Helpdesk and general end-user support for Microsoft and User related requirements including onboarding and off-boarding procedures, OS, network, user equipment and other service-related issues.
Responds to queries either in person, email, or over the phone and deliver a high level of client support across the company
Support SSO, 2FA, Microsoft Intune, Azure Active Directory and MS Azure Cloud Services
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain uptime and performance.
Troubleshoot Microsoft 365 issues including integration with other systems, SSO capabilities and user connectivity and mobility
Escalate to resolve issues
New projects and solutions – work with the IT team and the business to deliver new solutions to the corporate environment
Maintain up to date with advancements and best practices in IS administration including participation in courses and MS accreditation
Requirements
At least 3 years of experience in a corporate Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) environment
Education in Information Technology, Information Systems or a relevant discipline and possess related IT and Microsoft certifications
Professional experience with Azure Cloud Services
Help desk experience and ability to provide remote technical and end-user support
Experience working in both Windows and iOS environments
Flexible, team player, “get-it-done” personality with good communication skills
Ability to multi-task, organize and plan work independently
Knowledge of networking protocols, security and tools – DNS, Certifications (asset)
Experience with Microsoft endpoint protection (asset)
PowerBI solution administration (asset)
