Software Engineering Manager leading Global Licensing Systems team at Warner Music Group. Overseeing music licensing systems and ensuring effective teamwork and innovative product delivery.

Responsibilities

Own team deliverables and objectives
Set technical strategy and engineering best practices in collaboration with senior engineers
Provide active career development and technical guidance to engineers
Hire, build your team, and manage performance
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to ensure successful project management
Build, drive and uplift a dynamic and highly effective engineering team
Own the creation and delivery of innovative products

You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related field
You’re a passionate engineering leader, with at least 2 years of experience leading engineering teams of 6-10+ software engineers
You are hands on leader who writes code, conducts code reviews, and is involved in architectural design and strategy work
You communicate effectively and have a proven track record of effective hiring and team building
You thrive in ambiguity and fast-paced, evolving environments
You’re an empathetic leader who builds strong teams
Experience with Java, Angular, React, and AWS Experience in this tech stack is a plus, although not mandatory.
