About the role

Business Intelligence Analyst supporting report and dashboard delivery in Zurich Canada. Focused on data analysis, cleaning, and validation with strong stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and refresh dashboards and recurring reports for assigned business areas
Respond to ad hoc analytical and data requests from business stakeholders within agreed service levels
Extract, clean, and validate data from source systems to support analytical deliverables
Document report logic, data sources, and data refresh processes
Identify and escalate data quality issues, coordinating with data engineering or source system owners to resolve discrepancies
Participate in requirements gathering and stakeholder sessions as skills and relationships develop
Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to automate or streamline manual reporting
Contribute to shared team documentation, data dictionaries, and reporting standards

3-5 years of experience in a data, analytics, or reporting-focused role
Post-secondary education in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Proficiency in Power BI for dashboard development and report creation
Working knowledge of SQL for data querying and basic transformations
