About the role
- API/Backend Developer role designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot. Onsite in Mississauga/Toronto, ON.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs. Build and manage backend services using Java and Spring Boot. Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) for data storage and retrieval. Integrate third-party APIs and external services. Optimize code for performance and scalability. Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot. Hands-on experience in REST API development. Good knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL/Oracle). Understanding of Microservices architecture. Experience with Git or other version control tools.
