Responsibilities
- We are seeking a Back End Full Stack Developer for a long-term hybrid contract in downtown Toronto. The role requires strong backend expertise with Java or Node.js, experience building RESTful APIs, intermediate to advanced Angular skills, 2+ years of cloud platform experience, strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, expert Git skills, experience translating Figma designs to UI, and hands-on experience with monitoring tools like Splunk or Dynatrace. Additionally, the role involves DevOps and automation with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipeline design, focus on automated testing, and AI-driven development using tools like GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, or Claude Code.
Requirements
- · Strong backend expertise with Java or Node.js · Experience building RESTful APIs and working with OpenAPI specifications · Intermediate to advanced experience with Angular (React is a plus) · 2+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or OpenShift) · Strong working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes · Expert level Git skills (branching, merging, code reviews) · Experience translating Figma designs into production ready UI · Hands-on experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, or similar monitoring tools · Proven experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipeline design · Strong focus on automated unit, functional, and performance testing · Experience integrating intelligent agents into CI/CD pipelines · Practical experience using GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, or Claude Code · Passion for applying GenAI tools to improve engineering velocity and quality
