About the role
- Building Operator needed for office property in Ottawa. Responsibilities include inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting HVAC/electrical systems, and coordinating contractors.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily inspections and preventative maintenance. Respond to tenant service requests and resolve building issues. Troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Monitor BAS controls and support energy efficiency initiatives. Coordinate and oversee contractors and maintenance work.
Requirements
- 3+ years of building operations or commercial facilities experience. Strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of HVAC and life-safety systems. Proactive, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
