About the role
- Data Analyst/Developer contract role focusing on Power BI and Microsoft Fabric. Hybrid work with 12 days/month on-site in Ottawa.
Responsibilities
- Data Analyst/Developer specializing in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric. Responsible for Power BI modeling & DAX, performance analyzer, governance, API literacy for analytics, Microsoft Fabric fundamentals (Workspaces, Notebooks, Pipelines, OneLake, SQL Analytics), Copilot Studio agent design and integrations, RTI/KQL experience, and Activator alerting. Must serve as technical lead in a Power BI/MS Fabric Community of Practice and engage with stakeholders at various levels.
Requirements
- 5+ years advanced experience in Power BI modeling & DAX, performance analyzer, governance, and API literacy for analytics. 2+ years advanced experience in Microsoft Fabric fundamentals, Copilot Studio agent design and integrations, RTI/KQL experience, and Activator alerting. Must be eligible to apply for Secret Security Clearance. Demonstrated experience as a technical lead in a Power BI/MS Fabric Community of Practice.
