About the role
- Python/SQL Developer needed for cloud transformation in Capital Markets. Migrate analytics platforms to Snowflake/Azure, work with large datasets in Toronto hybrid role.
Responsibilities
- Build and accelerate data/cloud migration frameworks. Migrate analytics, data assets, and applications to Azure & Snowflake. Enhance systems supporting trading, execution, and research. Develop and optimize Python-based solutions interacting with large datasets. Contribute to best practices across cloud, DevOps, and agile delivery.
Requirements
- 4+ years in software development. Strong Python + SQL expertise (must-have). Experience working with Azure and Snowflake environments. Solid understanding of data structures and working with large datasets. Ability to work closely with business users in Capital Markets. Nice to have: C#, React/Django, Airflow, DBT, Power BI.
