About the role
- Calian seeks an Engineer/Analyst to support nuclear projects in Bruce County, overseeing engineering work and collaborating with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- The successful applicant will support client projects in Reactor Design and LCAM under the client QA program, obtain and maintain Owners Engineering qualifications, prepare engineering evaluations, support review of supplier deliverables, lead the ECC process, interface with stakeholders, drive resolution of issues, and work with project teams at client site 3-5 days per week.
Requirements
- Degree in Applied Science / Engineering, preferably in Mechatronics; 3+ years of relevant experience, with preference for Nuclear industry experience; educational background in nuclear field or energy sector preferred; understanding of systems engineering practices; good organizational and interpersonal skills; hands-on operational experience in nuclear maintenance or complex systems is an asset; strong verbal and written English communication skills; ability to excel in a team environment; experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MS Visio, MS Excel, and MS Project; Owners Engineering Training and Qualifications highly valued; must be able to obtain Government of Canada security clearance; must be located within proximity of client site in Bruce County, Ontario or willing to relocate.
