About the role
- Our client in Toronto is hiring for two permanent, full-time hybrid roles in North York: an Engineering Manager and a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE).
Responsibilities
- We are seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead and grow a high-performing team while actively contributing to development, architecture, and product delivery. Also hiring an SRE to drive platform reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Engineering Manager: 5+ years software engineering experience, 2+ years in leadership, strong player-coach mindset, hands-on coding ability, experience with SaaS and startup settings preferred, technical expertise in Python, Django, React, TypeScript, AWS, CI/CD, SQL, strong background in system design and API development. SRE: 3+ years in SRE, DevOps, or Production Engineering, strong hands-on production support, expertise in AWS and Terraform highly preferred, proficiency in AWS Fargate, CI/CD, Python, Bash, CloudWatch, Postgres, IaC.
