About the role
- Full Stack Developer needed for a 12-month onsite contract in Toronto. Build scalable cloud-native apps using React, Next.js, Node.js, and REST APIs for a government project.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack applications. Build and integrate RESTful APIs with modern front-end frameworks. Develop responsive, high-performance web applications. Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (BA, UX/UI, Architects). Ensure application performance, scalability, and AODA compliance.
Requirements
- Must-Have Skills: Strong experience with React & Next.js, Proficiency in JavaScript & TypeScript, Hands-on experience with Node.js & REST APIs, Solid experience with SQL & database design, Experience with ORM tools (e.g., Entity Framework), Knowledge of WCAG / Accessibility standards. Nice to Have: Azure Cloud / PaaS experience, Microservices & container-based architecture, CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Git), Unit testing frameworks (Jest, Karma, Jasmine, etc.), Experience with Playwright or QA automation tools. What We’re Looking For: Strong Agile/Scrum experience, Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, Ability to work onsite and collaborate closely with stakeholders.
