About the role

  • Intermediate BSA needed for API integrations project in financial services. Focus on requirements, API docs, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed requirements for API-related projects. Facilitate requirements workshops and discussions to clarify project goals and functionalities. Write clear, comprehensive API documentation, including user stories and sequence diagrams. Engage with technical teams to ensure accurate and effective documentation of technical solutions. Assist in development and review of user stories, ensuring completeness and clarity. Support Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and reviews. Provide deep analytical insights that add value beyond automated tools. Communicate effectively with product owners, BAs, and business partners to ensure alignment. Contribute to project deliverables, ensuring they meet quality standards and client expectations.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst. Strong expertise in requirements elicitation and facilitation. Proven experience in API documentation and related technical writing. Ability to create and interpret sequence diagrams. Background in core banking systems (highly preferred). Hands-on experience working in Agile environments. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to document technical solutions clearly and accurately. Familiarity with accessibility standards is a plus.
